Thistle has a background in physical anthropology/animal behavior, studied art in college and has taken drawing/painting through local adult education art class programs for many years. In her spare time, she enjoys lace knitting and sewing skirts and blouses. She believes in stepping away from technology and offers hands-on drawing at all her events.
