Over de auteur

Tian Weidong was originally from Harbin, China, and now resides in Sydney, Australia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Nankai University, China, and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University, Australia. He currently works for an American IT company.Passionate about both writing and plants, his literary works and translations have been widely published in New Youth, a magazine based in Heilongjiang Province, China. Many of his outstanding pieces have been reprinted by leading Chinese journals such as Reader and Youth Digest. His translated work Giving was selected for use in Chinese provincial and Hong Kong primary school language textbooks.He is currently a member of the Fellowship of Australian Writers and the Tanka Society of America. His English tanka poems have been published in Australian tanka journal Eucalypt and the American journal Ribbons.
