The doorbell rings!
She slowly rises from the couch and looks through the peephole of her front door. Standing with his back to the door is a tall, dark-haired man surveying the surroundings. Hands in his pocket looking as if he is master of all, he surveys, she anxiously waits for him to face the door.
At last he does!
She staggers backward, almost losing her balance as she looks into the handsome face of a familiar-looking stranger at her door. The doorbell rings again; this time followed by impatient banging. Trembling, she moves forward, still unsure if she should open the door. However, that decision is taken completely out of her hands. With a loud bang, the door crashes in.
Eyes wide with fear, she freezes in place as the stranger’s long legs brings him closer and closer. Only when she feels his hands around her throat, squeezing the life from her body does she rouse herself, realizing that this was more than just a dream.
