He undertakes research on the contribution of the bio-economy value chain to sustainable development. Stuart Smyth is an Assistant Professor and holds the Industry Chair in Agri-Food Innovation in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. His research focuses on the sustainability and farm level impacts of genetically modified crops.
