About the author
Susanne Heitz was born in Germany but has spent much of her life in the Caribbean. Trained at the Hochschule for Fine Art and Design in Hannover, Germany, her art can be found internationally in galleries and private homes. Her love of nature and vibrant colours are key elements in her work. The mother of five children and grandmother to five, she now lives in Dominica, Barbados and Germany – with her husband and a couple of cats.
