In this simulation of the battle of Pavia we are going to test a hypothesis in which the French would have strategically taken advantage of their situation in interior lines; tactically had established in a safe place both in the internal perimeter – in front of the city – and in the external perimeter – the accesses to Pavia (note: as we saw Caesar in our book 'Alesia’); and, technically, to have planned and trained the necessary coordination between the various defensive forces. In the development of the simulation of this battle of Pavia we will use the map, the pieces and the rules of the board wargame 'Pavia: Climax of the Italian Wars’ by Decision Games.
