She is an international expert on membranes for water treatment with a focus on water quality and water energy nexus. Anthony G. Fane, Ph D., is an Emeritus Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He is a former Director of the UNESCO Membrane Centre (UNSW) and was Founding Director of the Singapore Membrane Technology Centre (NTU).
