La topographie de l’isthme devient alors une image possible de temporalités séparées qui se font écho et cherchent leur jonction.

An isthmus connects two areas by a thin natural thread. Place of the battle between land and sea, its geological particularity, passage and fragile link, is the source of a reflection on the gesture and the pictorial trace. The topography of the isthmus then becomes a possible image of separate temporalities which echo each other and seek their junction.
The written and photographic images attempt to suggest the intertwining of space and time, in resonance with the act of painting.
