As a kid growing up on a small farm, fixing things and making things started early in life and led to a passion for woodworking and a love of traditional hand tools and methods of work. Now based in Minneapolis, Brad Holden has been building cabinets and furniture—both in professional cabinet shops and in his own shop—for thirty years. During that time, Brad also spent twelve years as a freelance editor for American Woodworker magazine. He is currently an associate editor for The Family Handyman magazine.
