Cindy M. Wu is a wife, mom, author, and speaker based in Houston, TX. She currently works as Program Manager for a non-profit named houston welcomes refugees, whose mission is “to ease the resettlement process for refugees coming to Houston by mobilizing invested, caring volunteers, fostering hope amidst crisis.” Prior to this, she part-time homeschooled her 3 kids for 10 years, serving in various volunteer capacities at church and in her community, as well as researching/writing on global Christianity and refugees.
Cindy sits on the Executive Board of the Evangelical Covenant Church. She is co-author of Our Global Families: Christians Embracing Common Identity in a Changing World (Baker Academic, 2015) with Todd M. Johnson, and author of A Better Country: Embracing the Refugees in Our Midst (William Carey Library, 2017).
