Her fifty year journey from a childhood dream of becoming a writer inspires future authors to begin their own stories. She teaches them the value of never giving up on your dreams. Deborah Wong’s vivid illustrations pique a child’s interest and encourages them to look further to find hidden gems. Deborah’s artistry is also drawn from her travels around the globe as a navy wife. With duty stations in Japan, Iceland, Scotland, and trekking all over Europe, she brings a depth to each picture that can be felt as well as seen.
