A former student of Edna Lewis’s, Evangeline Peterson is an accomplished cook in her own right. Following her graduation from Columbia University School of Social Work, Ms. Peterson completed a four-year program in Psychoanalysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy, and went on to work for many years as a psychotherapist in New York City before her retirement in 2002. She currently lives in Medford, Oregon.
