Following her graduation from Columbia University School of Social Work, Ms. Peterson completed a four-year program in Psycho­analysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy, and went on to work for many years as a psychotherapist in New York City before her retirement in 2002. She cur­rently lives in Medford, Oregon.
