This is a book of poetry that has been written over the time span of two decades and took all of my personal courage to create. I have been on a very personal journey of late, and this book has been the outcome of the journey. Gail Lewis of Soul Tribe is my Elders’ name for me.
I was born in Oldham in England in 1972. My family was in the Royal Air Force, meaning we traveled a lot. This gave me a head start and also led me to write at the age of twenty-one.
My big passion is translating what we mean into what we say.
I learned this in my valuable time on earth.
