George B. Clark is a former Marine, who served briefly in the Pacific during WWII. He later worked in several banks, Baltimore, MD, and Providence, RI. Then was hired by Brown University in Providence, for a dozen years as the Director of Research Administration, followed by another dozen years at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, in Worcester, at an expanded version of the same position. Retired from the latter twenty-five years ago and began writing military history, primarily of the U. S. Marine Corps. He lives in Pike, NH.
