He tells about his experience in the hotel business during the late 1940’s and 1950’s in Miami Beach, his career as an asbestos worker, and times as a business agent. George talks about raising his daughter alone because his wife was hospitalized with mental illness. At this time, he continues to reminisce and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

George Lopez?s greatest passion is his relationship with his family and friends, especially his brothers and telling and writing about his small community in Roberts City, Tampa, Florida. George, also known as Yoye, will be eighty years old this year on May 25, 2008. He resides in Seffner, Florida with his wife Kathie Lopez.
