This volume contains work made by Alma residencey participants 2022-2023.
The Alma Residency Program, a Prairie Sea Projects initiative, is located in Joes, Colorado. Emphasizing creativity within the specfic geographic context of the High Plains, the program offers participants from diverse creative disciplines dedicated time and space to explore new perspectives and develop innovative artworks and art practices in a small rural town. Situated in the Benton Family farmhouse amidst the Prairie Futures land art installation, residents engage with culturally and ecologically significant sites across the expansive High Plains region, while also collaborating with and contributing to Northeastern Colorado communities.
