He is Head of Research and Development at the ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre and Platform of the Norwegian Institute for the Prevention of Radicalization and Violent Extremism.Joseph Salomonsen is Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDI). His policy report „The Democratic Surplus” won the Council of Europe”s article competition in 2010. His research focuses on the power dynamics of integration.
