Medicinal plants contain a large amount of biologically active substances applied both in traditional medicine and as inexhaustible sources of substances for various pharmaceutical industries. In the present volume, numerous molecules of biologically active substances in photochemical screening have come out of herbal drug experimental base in Tainan thus globiferus, Catharanthus roses, Foeniculum vulgar, Terminally Billerica, Oleo euro pea, Vigna unguiculata, Jatropha curcus, Solano unigram, Morinda morindoides, Nigella sativa, Zingier officinal, Ginkgo-balboa etc. Structurally related compounds of phloroglucinols, phenoxazines, antioxidants and adaptive plants associated with several enzymes and hemoglobin have been reviewed.
