JACQUELINE T. DYER, Ph.D., MSW, MAUML, LICSW, is Assistant Professor of Counseling and Director of Counseling and Academic Initiatives at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary-Boston. There she teaches in the licensure track Master of Arts in Counseling Program and developed the Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy degree track. Dr. Dyer has served as a clinical supervisor in secular and Christian agencies, and as avolunteer facilitator for a Christian domestic violence support group. Her volunteer time also included serving on the leadershipteam for Clergy Women United, part of the Black Ministerial Alliance of Greater Boston. Dr. Dyer accepted her call to ministry on September 23rd, 2012. In May of 2016 she received her license to preach, and on September 30th, 2018, was ordained in the Baptist Denomination, both at her faith home, Peoples Baptist Church in Boston, where she is an Associate Minister and facilitates Spiritual Direction meetings.
