Laura Mee is a PhD candidate and part-time Lecturer at De Montfort University, UK, where she is completing her AHRC-funded thesis on contemporary horror film remakes. Her work has appeared in the international journal Horror Studies, and she is a co-founder of and contributor to the postgraduate blog and podcast In Motion.Johnny Walker is a Lecturer in Media at Northumbria University. He has published articles in journals such as the Journal of British Cinema and Television, and he is the author of Contemporary British Horror Cinema: Industry, Genre and Society (Edinburgh University Press, 2015) and co-editor of Snuff: Real Death and Screen Media (Bloomsbury, 2015).
