Katarzyna Kącka, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of the History of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland. She mainly deals with post-war Polish-German relations, the politics of history, and theories of international relations. She is a member of an editorial committee of the political science journals Athenaeum: Polskie Studia Politologiczne and Historia i Polityka.Ralph Schattkowsky is a Professor and Head of the History of International Relations Department at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland. He is also Head of the Board of the Copernicus Graduate School and Associated Professor at the University of Rostock, Germany. His scientific interests concentrate on German-Polish relations, the history of Central and Eastern Europe, nationalism, and civil society.
