Prof. Khadija Baba, a civil engineer with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from EMI Rabat, is a current Professor at the Higher School of Technology of Sale, part of Morocco”s Mohammed V University. She serves as the Soil Mechanics, Structures, and Materials team director at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Laboratory. Her research focuses on the recovery and recycling of industrial waste in civil engineering, and she has a substantial publication record with over sixty articles and book chapters. Furthermore, she is a founder and chair of the international conference on Geosciences and Environmental Management (Geo ME), and also, as a co-chair of the International meeting on Mediterranean architectural heritage (RIPAM10). Additionally, Prof. Baba has co-edited multiple books and has been actively involved in research projects on valorizing local construction materials. She is an expert evaluator at CNRST Rabat and a member of ASMATEC.
Prof. OUADIF Latifa is a professor at the Mineral Engineering Department of Mohammadia School of Engineers in Rabat, Morocco. She is a member of the Laboratory of Applied Geophysics, Geotechnics, Engineering Geology, and Environment (L3GIE) at the same institution. Her research focuses on rock mechanics, engineering geology, and environmental geology, among other areas. She has published over 80 articles and book chapters, co-edited multiple books, and actively teaches and supervises Ph.D. and undergraduate students.
Latifa OUADIF is an expert evaluator at CNRST Rabat and a member of ASMATEC. She is also a co-founder and co-Chair of the international conference on Geosciences and Environmental Management (Geo ME).
Prof. Abderrahman Nounah holds a Ph D in Physical Chemistry and Materials Science. He is a Professor at Mohammed V University and Director of the Higher School of Technology of Salé in Morocco. He is also the director of the Laboratory of Civil Engineering and Environment at Mohammadia School of Engineering. His research focuses on the recovery and recycling of industrial waste in civil engineering. He has published over sixty articles and book chapters and has reviewed papers for many high impact factor scientific journals. Abderrahman Nounah has participated in research projects on the valorization of local construction materials. He is the vice President of ASMATEC, promoting education and research in materials science and construction technology.
Prof. Mounir Bouassida is a civil engineering professor at the National Engineering School of Tunis. He is the director of the Research Laboratory in Geotechnical Engineering and has supervised numerous graduate students. His research focuses on soil improvement techniques and soft clay behaviour. Prof. Bouassida has authored/co-authored over 100 papers in international journals and is a member of editorial committees for prominent geotechnical engineeringjournals. He received the S. Prakash Prize for Excellence in geotechnical engineering and has held leadership positions in professional organizations. Prof. Bouassida has also been a visiting professor in various institutions worldwide and serves as Director at the International Press-In Association.
