I live in Cardiff with my husband, but I am originally from the South Wales Valleys. My writing started as an idea inspired by an actual event, which grew into a novel. I have brought my love of the Valleys landscape into my writing, but I also aim to challenge my readers, so I would not describe my work as mainstream.
I work as a Civil Servant. I enjoy films, books, travel and walks in the country. I have done voluntary work for an organisation providing food for the homeless in Cardiff.
