My name is Doug Mc Keever I was born in Des Moines, Iowa the youngest of six children of which none play golf. I was fortunate to have grown up with the greatest golfers in their prime playing golf on T.V like Jack Nicolas, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player to name a few which made my love of golf come alive. I received my first set of clubs when I was 19 years old from my brother (the oldest sibling) shortly thereafter I was evicted from my apartment and my clubs were stolen. A few years later I bought another set and off I went to the closest golf course taught myself to play and I’ve been playing ever since.

Over the 20 years I’ve played golf I’ve played with a bother in-law and a nephew taught another nephew and my wife the game. I’ve played 1000’s of games in three states and currently my wife and I are regulars in a golf club in Sun City, Arizona.
