João Bento, Ph D in Economics, is a senior lecturer in economics at Lisbon Accounting and Business School (ISCAL), Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (IPL). He is also an external affiliate at the Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability (CIS) research group within the research unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP) at the University of Aveiro (UA), Portugal. He has more than 20 years of experience in empirical research, academic knowledge, and expertise in economics. He holds a Ph D in economics from the University of Reading, UK. He works and has published in the areas of international business, tourism and environmental economics.
Miguel M. Torres, Ph D in Economics, is a lecturer in international business and the director of studies for the MSc in International Business & Management at Kent Business School, University of Kent, UK. His work has been published in the International Business Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Academy of International Business Insights, Multinational Business Review and in several edited books and chapters in Edward Elgar, Emerald, IGI Global, Palgrave, and Springer.
