Neben Werken von Jane Austen, Joseph Conrad und Patrick Leigh Fermor übertrug er unter anderem Romane von Yann Martel, Richard Powers, Joseph O”Connor, Reif Larsen und Patricia Highsmith ins Deutsche. Er lebt in der Eifel.
