Prerana Mohite is Professor-cum-Dean in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, Faculty of Family and Community Sciences, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She has vast experience of research and teaching in the field of early childhood care and education. She has been dynamically involved in many regional, national and international programmes for early childhood care and education as well as associated fields. Larry Prochner is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. His research interests include the home/school transitions in preschools in Canada, India and South Africa, and the history of early childhood services with a focus on Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He is co-editor (with N. Howe) of Early Childhood Education and Care in Canada, published by the University of British Columbia Press. Also, he is Editor of the Alberta Journal of Educational Research.
