He was a regular associate of leading artists in Antwerp who were students or assistants of Peter Paul Rubens, such as Jacob Jordan, David Tenners Jr., Erasmus Quellin II, Gerard Segers, Theodore Rombouts, Abraham van Dilbeck, and Thomas Villebery Bossier.
