Young James Wilson had been bullied by Carl for the past year and today he was going to take his moms advice and do something about it. After today Carl and his mom will be silenced forever. What’s in the box you ask? You’ll see.
The Box is a mix of a child’s world of being bullied with the adult world of terrorism and a young boys just trying to get rid of the pain. It also gives a twist where the bully may now be bullied. While the bomb squad is called to deal with The Box the boys are locked up together in the principles detention room and Carl finds out James didn’t want to kill him, kill him with a bomb. James wanted to kill him with kindness. The box had a chocolate cake.
Now the boys had to work together to figure out how to get to the cake before the bomb sniffing dogs do.

Unlike most authors Rick Mapson really didn’t like English, hated spelling, and because of that he didn’t like to write. He never thought of becoming a writer. He loved Math and Logic and that is why he has been in the data processing field for the past 40 years, but he has always been a storyteller especially to his four children, family, and friends. Then over twenty years ago Matthew pushed his way into Rick’s thoughts and so started Rick’s journey from storyteller to writer and after twelve years of labor 'Seeing Clearly – A View from Heaven’ was born. A novel of one man’s journey from this life to Heaven. Rick has also written many of his children’s stories and hundreds of poems. A lot of his writings have twists and turns that may unlock areas of life that you have never noticed or thought much about. You will laugh and cry (a lot of crying) on what it means to be human.
