Robert Mc Kenna resides in Glen Oaks, New York. He is married for 26 years to his lovely wife, Angela. They have two children and a gang of rescued cats. Robert attended a Catholic seminary where he was inspired to write poetry by Rev. Harold Buckley and Rev. Thomas Catania. His favorite poets are Seamus Heaney, Martin Espada, Joy Harjo and Yusef Komunyakaa. Robert is an avid hockey player, having played since he was 3 years old. Robert is often found at poetry readings on Long Island, organized by The Performance Poets Association. He writes poems.
