Sabine Müller studied Chemistry at the Humboldt University in Berlin (Germany), completing her Ph D in 1994. Thereafter, she spent one and a half years as a postdoc with Michael J. Gait at the MRC in Cambridge (UK) and then took up a group leader position at Humboldt University. In 2003, she finished her Habilitation and moved to the University of Bochum where she was a Professor of Bioorganic Chemistry until 2006. Since 2006 she has been working at Greifswald University, where she holds the chair of Bioorganic Chemistry.
