O autorze

Sally Dufner is a forty-“forever”-year-old who spent the majority of her life searching for happiness only to realize it wasn’t located across fences. It wasn’t in the shoes, clothes, and handbags she bought (and she bought lots). It was there all along her journey, but she just didn’t see it. Sally credits the love of her parents, siblings, and husband for her most important discovery—that life is amazing and beautiful and so is she.

This is Sally’s first book in a series of Sad Sally inspirational stories. As a child who grew up obese, sad, and bullied, Sally hopes to provide self-confidence and small glimmers of happiness to all readers through her simple yet powerful Sad Sally stories. For anyone searching for happiness, struggling with depression, or continuously wishing for more, Sad Sally may be an inspiration.

Sally Dufner resides in Otsego, Minnesota, with her husband and best friend Jake. She is busy raising one child—her husband Jake. Sally spent over twenty years pursuing careers in sales, management, and marketing and is currently a business instructor teaching sales, management, and marketing. A strong believer in higher education, Sally obtained a bachelor’s degree in speech communication, minor in marketing, and a master’s degree in business administration. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in higher education administration and master’s degree in teaching. Of all the titles Sally has earned, none are more important to her than that of “Aunt.” She is the proud aunt of twelve talented and amazing nieces and nephews. Sally’s lifelong goals are to travel and see as much of the world as she can afford and master Grieg’s Concerto in A Minor on her baby grand piano. The best gifts she received in life are her parents’ examples and her husband’s heart. The best compliment Sally received is “You laugh just like your dad.” Sally intends to live every day as if it were her last and to ensure the last is her best.
