A Monkey’s Tale of Travel and Ties has a simple three-fold message written for small children as well as adults.
The first is to encourage them to use their imagination and let their dreams take them anywhere. The second is to always remember their family and friends in the process of searching for their life’s dreams. Lastly, a family can be made up of all types of people. It takes a village to raise a child.

In June 1948, Sandy was the oldest of five children, born to Duane and Vera Newington; and the mother of four wonderful kids. She grew up in the small town of Hickory Corners, Michigan, where she attended Gull Lake High School; graduating in 1966.
