Dr Sukanta Das, PhD, has been teaching at P.D. Women”s College, West Bengal, India, as an Assistant Professor of English since 2003. His research interests include culture studies, identity, gender, and new literatures in English. He is currently working on a Research Project funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India, on the topic „A Study on the Interface between Sexual Violence against Women and Popular Culture”. He has presented papers in various national and international fora, and has published six papers in different journals and anthologies. Dr Sanatan Bhowal, PhD, is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English at P.D. Women”s College, West Bengal. India. His specializations are D.H. Lawrence and subaltern studies. His publications include D. H. Lawrence and the Contemporary Thinkers: A Study in Correspondence (2015) and The Subaltern Speaks: Truth and Ethics in Mahasweta Devi”s Fiction on Tribals (2016), and a work of fiction titled Or in Rains (2015). Sisodhara Syangbo, MA, has been teaching English Literature at P.D. Women”s College, West Bengal. India, as an Assistant Professor for more than six years. She is currently pursuing her doctoral research on diaspora at the Department of English at the University of North Bengal. She has presented research papers at various national and international seminars and conferences.Abhinanda Roy, MA, has been teaching English Literature at P.D. Women”s College, West Bengal, India since 2015. She is currently pursuing her research at the Department of English at Coochbehar panchanon Burma University, West Bengal.
