Stephen Durrant is Professor of East Asian Languages and Literatures in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Oregon, and director of the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies. Along with four others, they are co-editors of a 2, 250-page anthology, „The World of Literature” (Prentice-Hall, 1999).
