This is the story of a little boy who finds out he is going to move to another city. He has to help his mother pack his things, and in the process, he realizes how important it is to organize everything, and how to remember all the good times. As he sorts through his belongings, he begins to realize that some things can’t come with him to the new house.

Vera Lúcia Dias, the author, was born in Rio de Janeiro, but has been living in Brasília since 1962. She is a music teacher at several schools in Brasília. Since she was a little girl, she has loved to read, write, play, and travel. She still does all these things, and her stories are always about what happens to her, to the people, or even to the animals she knows. She has published many books that are loved by young readers.
