A.K. Kalla, Currently Professor and Head of the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi, he has worked in the area of demography, population genetics, clinical genetics and molecular anthropology. He has been a visiting scientist to the Institute of Human Genetics, University of Heidelberg and the past president of Indian Anthropological Association. P.C. Joshi, Currently Professor of Social Anthropology in the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi, he received his M. Phil, and doctorate in Anthropology from the same department. He has been the past president of Society for Indian Medical Anthropology and has served the Department of Anthropology, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar as well as Department of Medical Anthropology, Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences. He has been the visiting Lecturer, School of Tropical Hygiene and Public Health, Heidelberg University and visiting faculty, Global Forum for Health, Geneva.
