Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. With regard to the arrangement, the author has taken it for granted, that all who use this work will know from their own language the leading grammatical definition and rules, and has, therefore, omitted them. He considers it most natural, that the pupil begins with the sounds of the language, the rules for which are given in the first chapter, carefully attending to the Exercises given afterwards for that purpose.
