Sobre o autor

Dr. Akira Azushima is Professor Emeritus at Yokohama National University, Japan. He is also Emeritus Member of societies such as College International pour la Recherche en Productique (CIRP), ICFG, Japan Society for Technology of Plasticity (JSTP). His research interests include the friction law in metal forming, direct observation of interface between tool and workpiece, tribological numerical modeling, and simulator for evaluation of tribological factor. He has authored over 100 articles in journals of national and international repute.
