Albert Petrov holds a Ph. D. in Theoretical Physics (1997, Tomsk, Russia), and is currently a professor at the Federal University of Paraiba (Joao Pessoa, Brazil). He works in several areas of quantum field theory and gravity and has published more than 100 papers in international scientific journals. His focal points of scientific interest are supersymmetry, Lorentz symmetry breaking and modified gravity.
