He is also Head of Laboratory on Mechanics of Bulk Nanomaterials at St. Petersburg State University and Chairmanof the International Nano SPD Steering Committee(www.nanospd.org).
ALEXANDER P. ZHILYAEV, Ph D, is Principal Research Scientist for the Institute for Metals Superplasticity at the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is also Senior Research Fellow onthe Faculty of Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton.
TERENCE G. LANGDON, Ph D, is Professor of Materials Science at the University of Southampton. He is also the William E.Leonhard Professor of Engineering at the University of Southern California and founding member of the International Nano SPDSteering Committee.
The authors, through their numerous pioneering studies, haveplayed a major role in the development and use of SPD techniques toprocess bulk nanostructured materials.
