This book will assist anyone from a first time saltwater angler to a longtime one who just wants to improve. I have given proven advice on what equipment to use, what bait to have, and what fish to target. If you pier fish at all, you definitely need this book, and if you plan to hit the coastal flats, the information inside should enable you to catch fish without breaking the bank.

Brian Perry has been a fisherman since the first day his Dad talked his Mom into letting him put a rod in his hand. Brian’s parents traveled constantly when work allowed and owned homes in some of the best fishing areas of central Florida while maintaining a house in their hometown of Indianapolis. Brian grew up pier fishing, deep sea fishing, and fishing in every freshwater body of water he could find, by boat and on land. Whether the fishing was successful or not, he learned the value and comfort of having his Dad with him during those mostly quiet but sometimes exhilarating moments.Brian now lives in North Carolina with his family and is in the midst of some of the finest sportsmen territory he’s ever seen. Within two hours Brian can reach either saltwater flats in search of red drum and specks or a pier, where he can experience some of the most exciting fishing he thinks you can get into anywhere along our country’s magnificent coastline. If he stays near home, there are multiple reservoirs that produce an abundance of quality fish from freshwater striper to fat, slab crappies.Fishing, to Brian, is a noble sport. Those who feel this way should make an effort to keep our environment pristine, and if possible, improve it. It’s a great joy to enjoy the outdoors and God’s bounty while spending time with the ones we love. It is Brian’s hope that his book(s) will assist some with their sporting success in the hope that they become lifelong sportsmen/women who enjoy and maintain God’s bounty.
