My name is Cheryl, and I have been writing since 2007. I live with my father. I look after him during the day, but my creativity comes at night. Fred took me a long time to do as I had to draw the whole book by hand and then use Photoshop. The little images you will see in Fred, such as his golden vase, were actually made up from golden circles, which give the vase a 3-D effect. His mounted picture on his wall, if you look closely, is the shape of Fred but with flowers. There are little images of Fred’s posh room in which he gets muddy.
I have tried to write and illustrate Fred in such a way that children can learn from my images. I hope I have achieved this. I am working on a new project at the moment. My story is written. I am just creating my images for Donald the Dragon and friends.
