Cynthia A. Freeland é uma filósofa americana da arte. Professora emérito de filosofia na Universidade de Houston, Freeland também foi presidente da American Society of Aesthetics até 2017. Seu livro “Teoria da Arte” (inicialmente publicado como “Mas isso é arte?”) foi traduzido em mais de 14 linguas, sendo republicado, inclusive, como parte da Oxford Very Short Introductions series.
