Like many Alaskans, David A James wandered north after college, intending to spend a summer having adventures and hopefully earning a little money. Three decades later he still hasn’t left. James is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in many Alaska publications. James lives with his wife in Fairbanks, where he is an avid mountain biker.
