Douglas Skelton, shortlisted for Scottish Crime Book of the Year 2016 and longlisted for the Mc Ilvanney Prize in 2019, is a writer who specialises in the darker side of things: he’s a former journalist who published eleven true crime books before turning to crime fiction.
