Dr. Pankaj Kumar has 14 years” research, extension and six years of teaching experience dedicated towards Animal Health, Diagnostics of large animal. He worked as Scientist in the Division of Medicine, IVRI from 2007 to 2012. At present working as Senior Scientist, Veterinary Medicine, ICAR RCER, Patna. He started his professional education in 1995 from College of Veterinary Sciences, Mathura under CSAUA&T, Kanpur. Then, he did his M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Deemed University Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly in the year 2003 and 2006, respectively. He was awarded Dr. C.M. Singh Gold Medal for his Ph.D. degree. His innovative research has resulted in more than 50 research publications in journals of international and national repute. He has been bestowed with many recognitions and awards by different societies like National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine, Society for Community Mobilization, Society for Animal Welfare, etc. like Gold Medal for Bovine Medicine in the name of Shri Matunga Jain Gowraksath Mandali Gold Medal, Bharat Jyoti Award, Young Scientist, Best Scientist Award, etc.
