Edward Hirsch is a graduate of Princeton University. He has taught English as a Second Language at the University of Riga in Latvia, Khazar University in Azerbaijan and the University of Bucharest in Romania. As an advisor to the Kuwaiti military he also served as a director for the Kuwaiti Players Society, a Shakespearean dramatic society. He has worked for several newspapers in sales and editing including as a managing editor for the Russell, Kansas News and the Samoa News. While working with the Miami Herald he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for his work during Hurricane Andrew. He believes that the Pax Khazarica could be extended to society today to contribute to world peace.
