Jendia Gammon is a Nebula and BSFA Award finalist author of science fiction, fantasy, and horror books and short stories. She has also written as J. Dianne Dotson. Jendia was born in Southern Appalachia, in East Tennessee. She holds a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and spent several years in academic and non-profit research. Jendia is the CEO and founder of Roaring Spring Productions, LLC, and Editor-in-Chief of Stars and Sabers Publishing. She is also a science writer and artist. Jendia is married to British author Gareth L. Powell.
