Advances in Environmental Research. Following this, a comprehensive review on process control strategies, biological nutrient removal, effluent quality, electric energy consumption, exploitation problems and recent development in the applications of sequencing batch reactor-membrane bioreactors technology is presented. In the subsequent study, wastewater from the HUST dormitory was treated in a lab-scale sequencing batch reactor-membrane bioreactors system.
